The rodeo kicked off with a wild bull ride Tuesday night at the Union County Fair in Anna, Ill.

ANNA, Ill. -- Under a cloudless sky Tuesday night, the Union County Fair took off with one of its best nights of the week-long event.
After a day of livestock judging, a draft horse show and a 4-H Club livestock show, the fair opened up its grandstand to the Union County Fair Championship Rodeo. With the grandstand sold out for the event, people were setting up folding chairs along the guard rails of the rodeo area to get a glimpse of some of the area's finest rodeo stars.
Outside the rodeo, more than 500 people were milling about the midway taking part in the row of games and 20-plus rides the fair offers this year.
The 116th Union County Fair, which began Saturday, still has a lot to offer with a tractor pull Wednesday, country singer Delisa Dawn Jones performing Thursday and a demolition derby Friday. The fair wraps up Saturday with discount rides all day.
