Rockwell Automation-Allen-Bradley of St. Louis has donated equipment and software to Southeast Missouri State University's industrial technology department.
In addition to software, Rockwell donated a two-horsepower motor and variable speed controller.
The software and equipment together are valued at more than $27,000.
"This equipment will give students hands-on experience with the most current manufacturing technology and better prepare them to become future employees of the community," said Dr. Ralph Pittman, who chairs the industrial technology department.
