Road work to take place on William Street at Leming Lane intersection

Work has begun on William Street near the Kingshighway intersection this week to add a left turn lane at Leming Lane, located between Jimmi's and Dairy Queen near Schnucks, according to a news release sent out today by the City of Cape Girardeau.

Next week striping will occur to put in a left-turn lane eastbound from William Street to Leming Lane. Finishing work is expected to be complete the week of Sept. 15.
