Road work to cause lane closures in area
* Route K in northeast Bollinger County will be reduced to one lane of traffic this week while Missouri Department of Transportation crews work on pavement repairs. The work will take place, weather permitting, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday through Thursday on a section of road from Highway 72 to Route KK. Motorists are asked to use caution while near the work zone.
* Bridge repairs will reduce traffic to a single lane Monday on Highway 25 in southwest Cape Girardeau County. Missouri Department of Transportation crews will work on the bridge over the Whitewater River between Cape Girardeau County Road 267 and Route P from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday. Motorists are asked to use caution in the area.
* Route M in northern Perry County will undergo pavement repairs from Monday through Thursday, reducing traffic on the road to a single lane, the Missouri Department of Transporation announced. The roadwork, which will be on a section of highway from Route H to U.S. 61, will take place between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily, weather permitting. The work zone will be marked and motorists are asked to use caution while traveling in the area.
