Route MM in Bollinger County to be reduced
Traffic on Route MM in Bollinger County will be reduced to one lane today while Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a drainage pipe. The work will take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on a section of road between Bollinger County Road 820 and Bollinger County Road 822, weather permitting. The work zone will be marked with signs.
Section of Route H to be closed for month
A section of Route H in Scott County will be closed until mid-August while a Missouri Department of Transportation contractor replaces a bridge, the department announced Monday. Weather permitting, the work will begin at 6:30 a.m. today at a bridge one-half mile north of Route C and one-half mile south of Highway 77. A detour route will be marked with signs. J.M. Marshuetz will do the work, which will include removal of the existing bridge and construction of a replacement.
I-55 reduced next week in Scott County
Interstate 55 in Scott County will be reduced to one lane next week while AmerenUE crews perform utility work in the northbound lane. The section of roadway is from the I-55 exit ramp in Scott City to the bridge just north of the city. Weather permitting, the work will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
