The following projects are planned by MoDOT in the coming week. Drivers are urged to use caution in the work zones.

Route A down to one lane

Route A, from the city limits of Chaffee, Mo., to U.S. 61 will be reduced to one lane starting Monday.

Work crews will patch the road from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, weather permitting. The work zone will be marked with signs.

Ditch work on Route N

In Mississippi County, Route N will be reduced to one lane while MoDOT crews perform ditch work. Northbound traffic will be affected from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.

The project extends from Goodin Street to County Road 220 in Charleston, Mo.

U.S. 60 work continues

In Scott and Butler counties, U.S. 60 is getting shoulder work.

In Scott County, traffic on eastbound lanes from Highway 114 to the U.S. 60 interchange at Interstate 55 will be reduced to one lane from 6 a.m. Monday to 6 p.m. Friday.

In Butler County, traffic will be reduced to one lane westbound from Route T to the the U.S. 60/67 interchange from 6 a.m. Monday to 6 p.m. Friday.

I-55 work planned

Starting at 7:30 a.m. Monday, the southbound side of I-55, from Highway 80 to Route P in New Madrid County, will be reduced to one lane for concrete repairs. In addition to one lane of traffic, the lane width will be restricted to 16 feet.

Weather permitting, the lanes will reopen at 3 p.m. Friday. Work zones will be marked with signs.
