Crews from the Apex Paving Co. of Cape Girardeau will begin shoulder resurfacing on the Interstate 155 interchange ramps in Pemiscot County starting Monday.
Traffic near the interchanges will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Ramps will have a reduced width while the work is underway.
On Monday and Tuesday, crews will work on northbound and southbound lands at Exit 6 (Route Y and Highway 84 interchange).
On Tuesday and Wednesday, road crews will be working on the northbound and southbound lanes at the Route U interchanges (Exit 4), weather permitting.
Exit 1 at the I-55 and I-155 interchange, will be worked on Thursday through Oct. 19.
Apex Paving won a $2,554,907 contract to resurface the shoulders and diamond grind I-155 from I-55 to the Tennessee state line.
