Cape County Route V closed for bridge replacement
Route V in Cape Girardeau County will be closed as contractor crews replace the bridge over Little Indian Creek. The bridge is between County Road 607 and Highway 177. A Missouri Department of Transportation news release said the bridge will close on Sept. 17 and re-open Dec. 14. During this time, a detour will be in place to divert traffic around the closure.
Cape County Route KK reduced for bridge work
Route KK in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews make improvements to the bridge over Interstate 55 at mile marker 117, between County Road 408 and County Road 501. The work will be done Sept. 17 through May 7, 2019, according to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release. Traffic signals will be in place while construction is underway.
