Perry County Route NN reduced for bridge work

Route NN in Perry County will be reduced as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance. The bridge is between Peaceful Valley Drive and County Road 840. A MoDOT news release indicates the work began Tuesday and will continue through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Eastbound Broadway partially closed

Eastbound Broadway in Cape Girardeau will be partially closed to allow for driveway work at the new Kidd�s location, beginning today, ending Friday, weather permitting, according to a city news release. Broadway will be reduced to one lane from east of Southeast Hospital across West End Boulevard, past the store location, according to the release. Drivers are asked to use caution around this, and all, work zones, the release stated.

Bloomfield Road

Motorists also are asked to use caution on Bloomfield Road from Kensington Lane approximately half a mile northward to the bridge in Cape Girardeau, as work will begin at 9 a.m. today and continue until approximately 4:30 p.m., according to a separate city news release.
