Route BB in Perry County closed for pipe replacement

Route BB in Perry County, between Route T and County Road 738, will be closed Thursday as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a pipe under the roadway. The work will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Interstate 55 to close for work on railroad overpass bridge at Marston

Interstate 55 will be closed as contractor crews work to set girders for the railroad overpass bridge at Marston, Mo. Northbound I-55 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday to Tuesday. Southbound I-55 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. April 3 to 4. During the closures, traffic will be detoured to U.S. 61 from Exit 40 to Exit 44. The detour route will be marked.

All work is weather permitting. Work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near those areas. For more information, contact MoDOT's Customer Service Center at 888-275-6636 or visit modot.org/southeast.

Bridge sealing work to close East Dearwood Drive

Regularly scheduled bridge maintenance, beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday, will temporarily close the bridge on East Deerwood Drive in Jackson. East Deerwood Drive will be closed to through vehicle and pedestrian traffic between North High Street and Greensferry Road until 5 p.m. Local traffic will be restricted to entrance via Greensferry Road.
