__Jackson intersection to be closed for improvements__
The intersection of U.S. 61, Route 25 and Route 72/34 in Jackson will be closed to traffic while improvements are made to a railroad crossing. Work is expected to begin at 6 p.m. April 9 and end by the evening of April 10. Motorists will be rerouted to Shawnee Boulevard and Main Street, according to a news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation.
__I-55 reduced for pavement repairs__
Southbound Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County, between mile markers 105 and 92, will be reduced with a 14-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement repairs. The work is scheduled to be performed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily April 4 through June 1, according to a news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation.
__Pavement work reduces I-55 ramp in Scott County__
The southbound ramp from Interstate 55 to Interstate 57 in Scott County will be reduced with a 9-foot width restriction as contractor crews make pavement repairs. A news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation indicates the work will be done from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 4 to 11.
__I-57 in Scott, Mississippi counties reduced__
Northbound and southbound Interstate 57 in Scott and Mississippi counties will be reduced with a 14-foot width restriction while contractor crews repair the pavement. The section of highway that will be restricted is from mile marker 1 to mile marker 10. A Missouri Department of Transportation news release states the work will be done from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 4 to 11.
