Route Y in Cape Girardeau County closed for bridge work

Route Y in Cape Girardeau County will be closed as contractor crews remove and replace the bridge deck over Interstate 55. I-55 will also be periodically reduced to one lane during the work, according to a news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation. The work will begin at 7 a.m. Jan. 13 and be completed by 5 p.m. July 1.
