Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, from today through Feb. 12, weather permitting. The section of road is between County Road 816 and the Interstate 55 outer road.

Route Z in southwest Scott County will be reduced to a single lane of traffic for two days and will be closed completely for part of the day Thursday while Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform routine bridge maintenance. The work will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today and Wednesday on a section of road from Scott County Road 439 to Scott County Road 437. That section of the road will be closed completely from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday. The work zone will be marked with signs.
