ROAD CONSTRUCTION

* Mississippi River Bridge maintenance repair work One lane from noon to 5 p.m. today, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, and 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Expect delays of 10 to 15 minutes.

* Route 74 and Interstate 55 -- Cape Girardeau traffic will be rerouted from the mainline of Route 74 just east of Interstate 55 near the Dutchtown exit to a temporary bypass bridge. This bypass will remain in use until mid March.

* Route E overpass at Interstate 55 -- Bypass open to traffic. Speed limit reduced to 35 mph. Removing existing Route E. Expect short delays. No width restrictions.

* AmerenUE construction projects may cause traffic delays at the Perryville Road and Cape Rock Drive intersection, on Perryville Road from Cape Rock Drive to Nieman Drive and on Bertling Street from West End Boulevard to Perryville Road.

* Gordonville Road -- From Edgewood Road to St. Francis Drive will be closed for the next three to four weeks. People traveling to St. Francis Hospital and the businesses between Gordonville Road and Route K should enter from the west off of Mt. Auburn Road or north off Route K onto St. Francis Drive.

* Broadway -- East-bound traffic is rerouted between Clark and Sunset. Traffic is detoured to Thilenius. There may be intermittent one-lane traffic along this project during paving. Expect delays and use an alternate route when possible.
