The Friends of the Riverside Regional Library will present the bargain book sale from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. April 21 at Westfield Shoppingtown.
People can donate books by dropping them off at the library's Jackson site at 204 S. Union St.
People can volunteer at the sale, by calling Nancy Howland at 243-8141. Proceeds from the sale will be used by the Friends group to purchase items for the library's Jackson, Perryville, Altenburg, Scott City, Benton and Oran branches.

The Book Discussion Group meets at 7 p.m. the first Monday of the month at the library.
The next meeting will be Monday when the group will discuss "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand. "Joe DiMaggio: the Hero's Life" by Richard Ben Cramer will be the featured book at the May meeting, and "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte will be featured in June.

Spring programs for children continue Story Times for preschoolers, Bedtime Stories for families, After School Adventures for all ages, and Kids on Saturday program for all ages.

Susan Lane's Orchard Elementary School students will display artwork at the library during April.
The library offers in-house Internet and e-mail access to all. Children and young adults without a driver's license must have a parent's signature. A library card is not required for Internet use, but people are asked to sign an agreement on the library's acceptable use policy.
