RIVER CITY KIDS DANCERS TO PERFORM WITH BAND

The public is invited to bring their lawn chairs for a night of music as the Cape Girardeau Municipal Band presents a concert Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Capaha Park Band Shell.

Ronald Nall will be the conductor for the evening, which will feature jazz and swing music. Among the selections will be a medley of big band hits, including "Woodchoppers Ball," "In the Mood," "Leap Frog," "I'll Remember April," "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," "St. Louis Blues" and "Birdland."

Kathy Brown will be the celebrity guest director, and special entertainment will be provided by the River City Kids summer dance troupe.
