RIVER CITY C.B. CLUB AWARDS SCHOLARSHIP

CHAFFEE -- Linette Marie Welter, a senior at Notre Dame High School, has been selected to receive the 1992 Junior Member Scholarship from the River City C.B. Club. The announcement was made by club president Dixie J. Burnett.

Welter will receive the $1,000 cash award at the completion of her first semester of college. She has been accepted at Barnes College of Nursing in St. Louis, as well as at Southeast Missouri State University.

Funds for the annual scholarship program are raised from the organization's weekly bingos.

Recipients of the scholarship must maintain active membership in the club's programs. She is the daughter of Frank and Linda Welter of Route 1, Chaffee.
