U.S. Rep. Jo Ann Emerson, Jackson Mayor Barbara Lohr and other officials are scheduled to speak at the Highway 25 ribbon cutting in front of South Elementary School in Jackson at 1 p.m. Thursday. The construction project got underway in May and was intended to alleviate congestion near the school.
