Ribbon cutting set for Route AB extension

The Missouri Department of Transportation and Cape Girardeau County Commission will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday to celebrate the completion of the extension of Route AB in Cape Girardeau County. The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of highways 25 and 77. In the event of bad weather, the it will be held at the Cape Girardeau Maintenance Facility, 3359 E. Outer Road North in Scott City. The public is invited. The project included the extension of Route AB and construction of a roundabout at the intersection of highways 25 and 77 and Route AB.
