KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- An anti-terrorism task force is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted in the 1994 shooting of a state trooper.
The Heart of America Joint Terrorism Task Force, which covers Kansas and the western two-thirds of Missouri, announced the reward Tuesday.
The task force said it considers militia member Timothy Coombs, 43, a domestic terrorist for allegedly shooting Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper Bobbie Harper on Sept. 16, 1994, at his rural Anderson home. Coombs is charged in federal court with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
