Old Town Cape Inc.'s annual senses-centric fundraiser is returning next month.
Revivify will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Ivers Square in Cape Girardeau. The event is a big part of the fundraising for Old Town Cape Inc., as it funds the organization's revitalization efforts in downtown.
Revivify will feature a variety of immersive experiences, including a live performance by Brazilian trombonist Felipe Brito, participate in competitive Pétanque matches and bid in the Charles L. Hutson live auction. The event also features the "Fund the Need" initiative and a selection of food and beverage vendors from multiple downtown businesses.
One of the event’s highlights is a raffle offering a $2,500 shopping spree to Atelier, Atelier Provisions or Hutson's Big Sandy Super Store.
"We are excited to bring this fun new interactive experience to the Revivify event for 2024," said co-chair Lee Schlitt in a news release for the vent. "Revivify is Old Town Cape’s only major fundraiser and provides funding for all of Old Town Cape’s revitalization efforts in our downtown community. We want to say a special thank you to our sponsors who continue to show their support for Old Town Cape by investing in this event and our community as a whole."
In keeping with the event’s theme of "Fete de Pétanque" ("Pétanque Festival"), guests are encouraged to dress in red, white and French blue.
Tickets for Revivify are priced at $100 and can be purchased at https://my.allevents.in/Revivify2024. Due to high demand, organizers urge potential attendees to secure their tickets as soon as possible.
