Sixty people attend Crader family reunion

The Crader family reunion, held recently at Cape County Park North, was attended by about 60 people from Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Georgia and Tennessee. Audrey Crafton and her father, Boyd, of Texas came the farthest. Ruby Statler was the oldest descendant present. The youngest was 8-week-old Coleten Welker. Two members were elected for two terms at the Crader Cemetery board meeting: member Dennis Hurst Sr. and secretary Joyce Partain. Donations and auction proceeds benefiting the cemetery were more than $900.

Twenty-five gather for Hyslop reunion

The Hyslop family celebrated their reunion last month at the home of Dennis and Susan Hyslop of Bloomfield, Mo. More than 25 family members from Missouri, including Dexter, Bloomfield, Florissant, Wappapello, Advance and New Bloomfield, and Georgia and Colorado attended.
