Results of last week's online poll

The new Central High School opens Sept. 3, but the widening of Silver Springs Road in front of it is not likely to be finished by then. City officials cited a pledge to stick with the list of road project priorities, as well as the process of buying rights of way, for the delay. Last week, the Southeast Missourian Web site asked, "Do you think that Cape Girardeau officials are doing everything they can to finish the improvements to Silver Springs Road before school starts?"
