United Methodist Women at Centenary Church will hold a general meeting at noon in the Family Life Center. The program will be presented by Fran Rediger and Martha Sanderson.
Wednesday
Baptist churches in Jackson will hold a community service at 6:30 p.m. to remember the one-year anniversary of the tornado. The service will be at Litz Park under the pavilion and will include music, testimonies from storm survivors and recognition of the agencies that offered help. The service is sponsored by First Baptist Church, New Bethel Baptist Church and Shawnee Hills Baptist Church. Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs.
Thursday
Mayors' Prayer Breakfast will be at 6:45 a.m. at the A.C. Brase Arena Building. Speaker is author David Limbaugh and music will be presented by the Cape First Church. Tickets are available by contacting Dee Dee Wilson at Data Business Systems.
Thanksgiving Mass at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson to mark the one-year anniversary of the tornado that damaged the school and church.
