"Success that Ma'tters" seminar at New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson. The men's seminar runs from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. For information, call 243-8487.

Beginning Experience weekend retreat at the De Paul Center at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Cape Girardeau. The retreat concludes Sunday.

Sunday

Anniversary service at Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Wells, Mo. The church is marking its 150th anniversary with four special services during the year. Today, the guest speaker is the Rev. Ted Richter at 9 a.m. A catered meal will follow the service and church members are invited to share memories. Historical items also will be on display.

Gospel Singing at 2 p.m. at Clearview General Baptist Church in Scott City. The group One Accord will perform.

Lenten service at Grace United Methodist Church at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Jerry Willer of Perryville, Mo., speaking. Music will be by a choir from the United Methodist Church in Marble Hill, Mo.

Tuesday

Grace United Methodist Women will meet in general session. The mission team meets at 9:30 a.m. in the Rasche room for a program let by Mary Ann Pensel. The Circle of Sharing will hold a coffee fellowship at 10:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall, followed by a business session at 11 a.m. The Rev. Anselm Williams will lead a program.

First Tuesday Noon Worship and Prayer service in the ballroom at the University Center on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.
