Worship celebration at 1:30 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church honoring Bishop Ann B. Sherer. Sherer has served the Methodist conference for 12 years and will be reassigned later this year.

Revival at New Bethel Baptist Church east of Pocahontas. Guest speaker will be Dr. David Clippard, a Jackson native who is executive director for the Missouri Baptist Convention. Service is at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Weeknight services are at 7 p.m. through Friday. Marvin Miller will lead music.

Monday

Young at Hearts meeting at noon at First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Wednesday

Lenten Luncheon at The Christian Mission in Benton. The free soup/sandwich luncheon is followed by a short devotion by the Rev. Normand Varone. For information, contact the Rev. Karen Taylor at 545-3673.

Lenten service at 6 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Study on basic Christianity with the Rev. Joel Hebert.

Shared Lenten services at 7 p.m. between St. Mark Lutheran Church ELCA and Christ Episcopal Church. Services are at St. Mark each week.

Greater Dimension Ministries in Cape Girardeau will hold a men's conference "Kneeling on the promises of God" beginning at 7 p.m. Speaker will be the Rev. Zachery Lee.

Greater Dimension Ministries in Cape Girardeau will hold a men's conference "Kneeling on the promises of God" beginning at 7 p.m. Speaker will be the Rev. John Black. He also will speak Friday.
