"In God's Family" leadership and discipleship training seminar at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with Ron Bennett as speaker. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. Both an afternoon and an evening seminar will be offered. Call 334-4344 for information.

Bishop John J. Leibrecht of the Springfield-Cape Girardeau Diocese will celebrate Mass at St. Joseph parish at 5 p.m. Nineteen candidates for confirmation will be presented. He also will celebrate Mass at 7 and 10 a.m. Sunday and visit with parish religion classes.

Dr. Marianne E. Inman, president of Central Methodist College in Fayette, Mo., will be the guest speaker at La Croix United Methodist Church at the 5:30 p.m. service. She also will speak at 8:30, 9:45 and 11 a.m. Sunday.

Morningstar recording artists Young Harmony will perform at 7 p.m. at Victory Outreach Center in Cape Girardeau. The group also will perform at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Sunday

Jim Worthing, a Nashville recording artist, will present a concert at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Anna, Ill. An offering will be collected during the service.

Pastor Jeremy Clayton and his wife Dana will begin serving as leaders at West Side Church of God. Dinner will be served after the 10:30 a.m. worship to welcome the new pastor and his family.

The Liberated Wailing Wall, a Jewish gospel music and drama team, will present a concert at 4 p.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

Tuesday

Centenary United Methodist Women will hold a general meeting at noon in the church's Family Life Center. Lois Woodford will give a program on the call to prayer and self-denial.

Wednesday

Lenten soup supper at 5:30 p.m. at St. Andrew Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Dr. Bill Matzat will speak.

Lenten service at 5:45 p.m. at First Prestyberian Church in Cape Girardeau. Meditation by Dr. Ken Moxey.

Shared Lenten services at 7 p.m. between St. Mark Lutheran Church ELCA and Christ Episcopal Church. Services are at St. Mark each week.

Lenten service at 7:30 p.m. at Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville. Jerry Boehmer wil preach.

Friday

World Day of Prayer service at 1:30 p.m. at Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson. The service is an ecumenical one sponsored by Church Women United. For information, call 243-4085.
