Gospel singing at 7 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church in Villa Ridge, Ill. The Gloryroad Travelers and Fred and Norma Frailey will perform.

Sunday

Mission emphasis at Lynwood Baptist Church, during morning services. Speakers are Lisa and Eric Laffoon of Cape Girardeau, who serve as missionaries in Malawi, Africa; Julio Pineriro, pastor of a Hispanic church in Miami and Dr. David Lema, who oversees church plants in Hispanic communities; Jon and Mindy Jamison of the Friendship Center in Des Moines, Bill and Verdia Beard and Warren and Teresa Comb with the disaster relief ministry. Chet Cantrell of the Christian Activities Center in East St. Louis also will speak.

The Lesters of St. Louis will present a Christmas concert at 6 p.m. at First General Baptist Church in Jackson. For information, call 243-8467.

Hanover Lutheran Church has canceled its annual German service because of inclement weather. The service was set for 6 p.m. at the old church. Church leaders had not set a date for a rescheduled service. The church will host its praise service at 6 p.m. in the main building.

Monday

Cape Girardeau County Christian Women's Club meets at noon at Holiday Inn. Speaker is Ann Stauffer of St. Charles, Mo.

Tuesday

Christmas Tea at 1 p.m. in the parlor at First Presbyterian Church, hosted by the ladies of the church. The program is "Gone with the Christmas Wind" presented by Sue Watkins. Call the church office at 335-2579 for information or reservations.

Wednesday

Mid-week Advent worship at 6:30 p.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church. Fellowship soup supper begins at 5:30 p.m.

Advent services at 4 and 7 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church.
