SundayChristmas cantata "Emmanuel: Hope of our Hearts" at First Baptist Church during 10:45 a.m. worship service. Narrators are Gelanie Lockhart and Bob Reeves.

Sounds of the Season choir songfest at 1:30 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson.

Caroling party at 3:30 p.m. at First Christian Church in Cape Girardeau. Rehearsal is planned before groups will divide and begin caroling. A potluck meal will be served following the caroling.

Christmas program "From the manger to the cross" at 4 p.m. at New Life Gospel Center in Scott City.

The Lesters, a gospel music group, will present a 6 p.m. Christmas concert at First General Baptist Church in Jackson.

Annual German service of praise and remembrance at 6 p.m. at Old Hanover Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. Guest speaker is the Rev. Ronald C. Paseur of Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg. The church also has a large, decorated cedar tree on display and will host an open house in the main church after the service.

Children's program at 6:30 p.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

Children's choir musical and JOY choir music at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Jackson.

Tuesday

Grace United Methodist Women's Circles meet. Charline Caldwell will be host for her circle meeting at 9:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall at the church. Diane Morgan and Sue Hunt will be hosts of the Copeland circle, which also meets at 9:30 a.m. Dottie Brooks will present the program for the meeting that will be at the Morgan home. The Sander circle will meet at noon at the fellowship hall with Jean Sander as host. Madonna Englehart will give the program.

Centenary United Methodist Church circles will meet. The Susanna Wesley circle will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the Limbaugh parlor with Wylene White and Janice Nunnely as hostesses. Jane Wrather will give a devotion and Louise Hargens will present the program. The Wimodausis circle will meet at 1 p.m. at Chateau Girardeau with Shirley Stevens as host. Ruth Moreland will give the program.

WednesdayDr. Mark Chironna will be the guest pastor during a 7 p.m. service at Christ Church of the Heartland in Cape Girardeau. He is overseer of The Master's Touch International Church in Orlando, Fla. A children's program and nursery is provided. For information, phone 334-7726.
