Sunday

The Pullen family will sing during morning services at the Jackson Church of the Nazarene. A dinner will follow the worship service.

Bethlehem General Baptist Church in Crump will hold its homecoming celebration at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Mike Huffman speaking. A basket dinner will follow the service and special music is planned after the meal.

Shawnee Hills Baptist Church in Jackson will mark its 23rd anniversary with a fall roundup, covered dish dinner and chili cook-off. Service is at 10:30 a.m.

Church anniversary service at St. James AME at 11 a.m. The church will mark its 141st anniversary with the theme "Great is thy faithfulness." Special guests include the SEMO Regeneration Choir. Several people will be honored during the service.

Christ Church will hold an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church on Lexington Avenue. A women's group known as the Merry Maids, who bake cinnamon rolls and treats, will greet guests. Refreshments will be served.

Restless Spirit, a Jackson contemporary Christian trio made up of Carla Eads, Brad Davis and Kara Whitledge, will perform a free concert at 6:30 p.m. at Davis Banquet Center on Highway 25 in Jackson.

"Bound for Glory" musical presentation will be performed by the Joy Choir at First Baptist Church in Jackson.

Monday

Young at Hearts meets at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Tuesday

Judgement House performance "Abducted" at Lynwood Baptist Church. Presentation is from 7 to 9 p.m. and passes are suggested. There will also be performances on Wednesday, Friday, and Oct. 30 to 31.
