Miinch chosen to join National Acteens Panel
Kami Miinch, daughter of Dwane and Diane Miinch of Jackson, was selected as one of the members of the 2005 National Acteens Panel. Six girls who are Acteens members in local Southern Baptist churches from across the nation are selected for this honor each year. As a panelist, Miinch will represent her church, First Baptist Church, at state and national meetings. She will serve at the Missouri state and national WMU annual meetings, and will write articles for The Mag, the National Acteens magazine.
Jackson Church of the Nazarene is holding a revival with Pat and Donna Burkhalter at 7 p.m. for five days beginning Wednesday. Revival schedule for Feb. 20 is 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Sikeston First Family begins services in its new location at 416 Greer St. Sunday at 9 a.m. The former office supply building now houses a sanctuary, classrooms, nursery and church offices. "We are thrilled to have a home of our own," said pastor Blake Tiemann. "Many people, including volunteers, helped us turn this supply building into a church home in just over three months."
