Harvest Moon Bazaar at Centenary United Methodist Church, 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Jerry Goff, known as Mr. Gospel Trumpet, will be at First General Baptist Church in Jackson at the 8:30 and 10:40 a.m. services. The church is at 1506 S. Farmington Road.
Grace United Methodist Church will celebrate 150 years. Bishop Robert Schmase will preach at the 10 a.m. service. Following the worship service, dinner and program will be held at the Arena Building.
Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville will hold an open house from 2 to 3:30 p.m. There will be self-guided tours of the new Disciple Center, the historic sanctuary and God's workshop.
The Southern Brothers will sing at First Baptist Church in Jackson at 6 p.m.

Lynwood Baptist Church will present Judgement House, an interactive walk-through drama, at 9 p.m. from Oct. 26 through 30. Reservations can be made beginning Monday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m. Call 334-3954 for reservations or more information.
Neighborhood Connection is co-sponsoring a free health fair and screening from noon to 2 p.m. on Oct. 22 at Christ Episcopal Church in Cape Girardeau. There will be screenings for depression and anxiety, blood pressure, glucose, and pulmonary function. There will also be booths on durable power of attorney/living will, community counseling services, a nurse practitioner and massage therapy. A light lunch will be served.
First Church of God is having a Spiritual Emphasis Month during October with camp-meeting sermons and a guest speaker with drama and music from Oct. 28 through Oct. 30.
St. Vincent de Paul Church in Cape Girardeau will have an Ugly Quilt weekend from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 29 and 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 30. Participants will make sleeping bags for the homeless. For more information, call 335-9275 or 335-0372.
The Lutheran Women's Missionary League fall rally in the Altenburg, Mo., zone will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23. The speaker will be Terry Kieschnick of St. Louis. The rally theme is "Lives transformed through Christ in time for eternity."
