Relief from the heat at Apple Creek

Other area swimming holes include Hubble Creek in Jackson, the Castor River in Bollinger County and Lake Boutin at Trail of Tears State Park in Cape Girardeau. Temperatures are forecast to be in the high 80s to mid-90s well into July.
