REGISTRATION IS IN PROGRESS AT SHAWNEE

ULLIN, Ill. -- Students may register for the 1993 spring semester at Shawnee Community College until Jan. 8.

Classes, including day, evening, on-campus and off-campus, will start at the college Jan. 11.

Special evening hours for registration will be held Jan. 5-7, starting at 7 p.m. Late registration will be accepted Jan. 11-15. A non-refundable late fee of $10 will be charged during that time.

A new off-campus center will open in Johnson County Jan. 11 for the spring semester.

The center is located at the intersection of Routes 146 and 37, west of Vienna. The building, which was previously used as a restaurant and service station, was donated to the school by Veach Oil Co., of West Vienna.

The Johnson County Center is the fourth extension center created by Shawnee College. They are now located in Union, Alexander, Johnson and Massac counties.
