REGIONAL MATH CONTEST HELD

About 200 students from 28 area elementary schools participated in a regional competition on the Southeast Missourian State University Campus to determine who would compete at the State Math Contest.

Teams of four students from each school also competed in a new event -- Team Competition. The winners of this competition were:

First, Jackson Middle; second, Alma Schrader; third, St. Vincent at Perryville.
