Cape Eagles plan dinner theater fund-raiser
The primary objective of the Cape Girardeau Eagles club's upcoming dinner theater is to raise funds for a good cause. On Sept. 22 the club will open the doors to its hall at 321 N. Spring St. for a murder mystery dinner theater called "Murder in Mayberry." The show, performed by St. Louis area production company Jest Entertainment, relies heavily on audience participation. Members of the audience provide both minor and major roles, interacting with three actors, said Pam Boyd with the Eagles. Boyd said there will be a dinner of fried chicken, pork chops, throwed rolls and fried okra. All proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Tickets are $25 if purchased by Thursday, $30 on the day of the event. For more information, call the Eagles at 335-0931.
