The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents will meet with a consultant Monday and Tuesday to begin its search for a new university president.
University president, Dr. Kala Stroup, will step down the end of August to become Missouri's commissioner of higher education.
The regents will met at 12:30 p.m. Monday with Allan Ostar of the Academic Search Consultation Service of Washington.
The open meeting will be held in the Board of Regents Room at the University Center.
The board will then reconvene at 3 p.m. Tuesday with the consultant for closed-door discussions, followed by an open session.
