The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents will meet today to consider new academic programs.
The board will consider adding a master of science in environmental science to its curriculum at the main campus. The program is expected to enroll 10 students the first year and expand to include 25 students in five years. Additional faculty or space is not required because all classes in the program are already offered for other majors.
The board will also consider adding a bachelor of science in agribusiness at its off-campus sites. The new degrees will be offered starting fall 2010.
The regents will meet in the University Center ballroom at 9 a.m. today.
