Items for consideration:

Discontinuation of the bachelor of arts degree in psychology. Approved.

Name changes for three departments. Approved. Under the change, the computer center will become computer services, telephone services will be known as telecommunications services and the physical plant will be called facilities management.

Other Business

Discussion of Constitutional Amendment 4. Groundbreaking for the business building project is set for Oct. 22.

The swearing-in of Jennifer Bertrand as the new student regent. The oath of office was administered by Circuit Judge John Grimm.

Amendment to the bylaws of the university foundation. Approved.

President Kala Stroup's report. The new sportsmanship policy of the Ohio Valley Conference was discussed.
