The Southeast Missouri State women's gymnastics team were on the short end of the scoring in a three-team meet at Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas, on Saturday.
Southeast suffered losses to nationally ranked Brigham Young University and TWU, as the Redhawks fell to 2-3 on the year.
BYU put up a team score of 196.125, Texas Women's scored 193.225, and Southeast tallied 192.250.
The Redhawks did post season-best scores on the vault (48.300) and the floor exercise (48.475).
Tara Boldt led the Redhawks on the vault with a score of 9.825, which placed her in a tie for fourth for Southeast's best finish at the meet. The junior finished third in the all-around honors with a 37.875.
Along with Boldt, four other Southeast gymnasts had their career bests on the vault: senior Amanda Grimes scored a 9.725, sophomore Lexie Hein scored a 9.650, freshman Jennifer Kaye posted a 9.675, and freshman Mindi Lineweber had a 9.425.
Grimes led the team on the floor with a 9.750, ninth-best on the day. Kaye, Boldt and Natalie Watts each scored 9.650 on the bars, tied for seventh. Allison Ezell's team-best 9.625 on the balance beam tied for seventh.
Southeast, in a three-match losing streak, continues its road trip this weekend in Ohio with matches Friday against Bowling Green and Saturday against Kent State.
