RE-CERTIFICATION

Linda Wessell, Southeast Missouri Hospital patient educator, has completed requirements for five-year re-certification as a board-certified Enterostomal Therapy Nurse.

In her position, Wessell instructs pre-operative and post-operative patients in the care and management of ostomies, wounds and fistulas.

Wessell, an employee at Southeast since 1985, received an ssociate's of arts degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 1969, and bachelor of science degree in nursing in 1982 from the same university. She completed the Jewish Hospital School of Enterostomal Therapy Nursing in 1986.
