Fran Horst called to report a kindness by Sam Drusch. Horst's dog, who is very old and almost blind, was missing last Thursday afternoon. Drusch apparently found the dog in the middle of Highway 61 covered in Diesel oil. He caught the dog and took her to the Merry Lea Animal Clinic and left money to take care of her. The clinic staff recognized the dog and contacted Horst. "Apparently, he got his shirt all oily and nasty when he rescued her," said Horst. "That was really a kind thing to do."

World's greatest stylist

According to an anonymous caller, Gary Stroder is one of the kindest souls she's ever met in her life. He's a hairdresser at Gary & Co. He's been cutting the caller's hair since she was a baby. She lives in Austin, Texas now and plans her trips so that Gary can cut her hair. "He is the best! He is an artist who goes above and beyond the call of duty."
