"Decorating with Quilts," the River Heritage Quilters Guild biannual home tour, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Five area homes are featured on the tour -- one each in Cape Girardeau, Jackson and McClure, Ill., and two in Fruitland.

The McClure home, built in 1882, is currently on the National Registry of Historic Places. This Victorian home has remained in the same family since its construction. Restoration of the home has kept all original woodwork and fixtures intact and most of the furnishings were original to the house or to previous generations of the family who lived in the area.
