CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Kelly L. Welker, site logistics manager for Procter & Gamble Co., will conduct two, 45-minute seminars on quality control during a daylong business conference to be held April 2 at the Show Me Center.
Welker, who has held several management positions at Procter & Gamble, is active in the American Society for Engineer Education and has presented several papers on quality control. He is a University of Missouri-Rolla graduate with a bachelor-of-science degree in engineering management.
The conference, sponsored by the Southeast Missouri State University Relations Committee of the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce and the university's College of Business Administration, will be held from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m..
The topic of the conference is "Quality and Your Business A compelling Link." The conference will consist of a series of pick-and-choose seminar sessions.
Michael J. Roarty, executive vice president in charge of corporate marketing communications for Anheuser-Busch Co., will be luncheon speaker.
Reservations for the full-day program are $45; the luncheon session only is $24. Reservations may be made through the chamber, 335-3312.
