Puxico caregiver charged with elder exploitation

A 26-year-old Puxico, Missouri, caregiver is in jail, charged with financial exploitation of the elderly.

Jerri Greenlee is accused of stealing checks from a 91-year-old woman who reportedly discovered several charges on her bank account, along with missing checks.

Many of the returned checks had been written at the Dollar General store in Puxico. After police reviewed surveillance tapes at the store, Greenlee was identified as the person passing the checks.

She had been working at Genesis Home Health Care. Her bond is set at $7,500, cash only.
