A public hearing that was scheduled for 6 p.m. today in the Heritage Room of the University Center at Southeast Missouri State University has been canceled.
The subject of the hearing was the use of around $3,500 in capital funds to purchase radio equipment for campus shuttle services. Facilities management budget analyst Larry Hale said the purchase would go forward without the hearing. The hearing was canceled because there were no requests to appear made three days prior.
