Pat Zellmer has been named regional coordinator for classified, Targeted Publications and community relations for the Poplar Bluff Daily American Republic, the Dexter Statesman and the Kennett Daily Dunklin Democrat.

The appointment is an expansion of her duties as director of classified, Targeted Publications and Community Relations for the Southeast Missourian.

Her new responsibilities include assisting the three regional newspapers in producing specialized publications aimed at a specific audience, in strengthening the daily classified sections and in setting up community relations departments.

Targeted Publications is an outside sales arm of the Southeast Missourian. The department produces such editions as Business Today, Tipoff, TBY (The Best Years) and Zipsheet. Community Relations handles inside advertising sales and generates tabloids and booklets such as Newcomer's Guide, vacation issues, Southeast Missouri State University '92, and various community sponsorship pages.

Zellmer joined the staff of the Southeast Missourian in May 1990, coming from Heber Springs, Ark., where she owned and published the Arkansas Sun newspaper for five years. Prior to that she operated an advertising agency in Sarasota, Fla.

John Renaud has been appointed production-sales manager for Concord Publishing, Web Press Division.

Renaud joined Concord in February 1972 as a pressman on the Bulletin Journal production staff.

In his new position, he will manage web sales while coordinating the efforts of the Southeast Missourian composition department and Concord's web presses in Cape Girardeau.

Renaud and his son, Brian, reside in Cape Girardeau.

Cecil L. Lawrence has been appointed Army station commander for Cape Girardeau.

Sgt. 1st Class Lawrence, a native of Mountain View, Ark., enlisted in the Army in August 1980. He completed basic and advance individual training at Fort Knox, Ky. He has also completed the Army's Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer's Course, Air Assault Course and Army Recruiting School.

Lawrence's awards and decorations include three Army achievement medals, two Army commendation medals, good conduct medal, Army service ribbon and overseas ribbons.
