Paul Keener of Cape Girardeau has been appointed promotion manager at KFVS-TV 12.

Keener has been with KFVS since April 1982, and most recently served as production supervisor and director of "Heartland News at 5" p.m.

Keener, a native of Charleston, is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and majors in communications and management.

Denise Balistreri has been named territory manager in the Chicago area for Health Services Corporation of America (HSCA), headquartered in Cape Girardeau.

Tom Jamieson, president of the firm, announced Balistreri's appointment.

Balistreri has been associated with HSCA since 1989, working in the Wisconsin area. She attended Milwaukee Area Technical School and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
