Southeast Missouri State University will host two Holocaust survivors at programs next week remembering the deaths of six million Jews killed by the Nazis in World War II. Rachel Miller will be the keynote speaker at a presentation on April 21 from noon to 1:20 p.m. in the University Center Party Room. Miller was born in France and spent her childhood hiding from the Nazis to survive. She is a speaker at the Holocaust Museum and Learning Center in St. Louis. Miller and fellow Holocaust survivor Rudy Oppenheim of St. Louis will participate in a panel discussion with Dr. Mitchel Gerber, political science professor at Southeast, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Dempster Hall's Glenn Auditorium. This year's Holocaust commemoration is being sponsored by the Political Theory Club, a student organization at Southeast.
