The Missouri Council of the Blind in cooperation with The River City Workers of the Blind will sponsor a public information forum targeting the blind and visually impaired June 9 at 7 p.m.
It will be held at St. Francis Medical Center's Education Center.
A panel of specialists may include representatives from the Missouri Council of the Blind, Social Security, Division of Family Services, Rehabilitation Services for the Blind, Wolfner Library, and Americans with Disabilities. They will discuss such topics as SSI Benefits, blind pension, adaptive technology, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
